Artur's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for tools and equipment to provide renovation services.

Artur's story

Artur lives in Vanadzor town with his wife and 22-year-old son. It has already been ten years that Artur has been involved in the construction business. In particular, he provides renovation services to locals and specializes in renovating flooring. Artur works very hard to be able to earn income and cover his family's daily needs. Despite the fact that Artur's wife is a nurse at a local clinic, the main income of the family comes from Artur's renovation business. Realizing this, Artur wants to purchase tools and equipment needed for his work. He has now been approved for a loan within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF International. The start-up loan program provides business start-up loans with soft conditions to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products. The loan is really important for Artur and his family, and they hope for lenders' support.
