Tulipanes Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy a refrigerator and retail space.
Tulipanes Group's story
The communal association "TULIPANES" is going to start its second cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Centro Focal de Villa Adela. It has eight members and is led by a management team where Feliciana is the Secretary. The businesses that the members run are varied: sale of food, sale of elastic beds, sale of electronic appliances, sale of cream and jelly, sale of jewelry, construction services, jewel making, etc. The loan will benefit small microentrepreneurs, Feliciana among them. She has been part of Pro Mujer for fifteen years, after being invited by a colleague who is a member of the institution. She sells food, a business that she started with her first loan from Pro Mujer. She used that loan to buy utensils and currently runs two stores. She will use the loan to invest in capital and to buy a third retail space (purchase of a refrigerator and retail space) close to where her stores are located. She will then get the new space ready. This allows her to generate enough resources to support her household, as she is married and has six children. When she is asked about what she likes in Pro Mujer, she says she likes the area of health and the savings.
