Kimhy's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to cover the entire tuition fee.
Kimhy, a rural villager from Kandal province's Ksach Kandal district where rice farming is a popular business, is 50 years old and has four children. Kimhy is a rice farmer while her husband is a paid construction worker. Having engaged in this business for 20 years, Kimhy is able to save up to 15 US dollars per day from her current business after deducting expenses. This is a fourth-cycle loan for Kimhy with Kiva's partner, VisionFund. The past business loans, which she successfully paid back, have helped her to sustain her living conditions as well as improving her business in a gradual manner. This cycle, she is applying for an education loan to cover the entire tuition fee for four years for her son, specializing in Finance and Banking. She sincerely hopes that this loan will enable her to send her oldest son to university and also help her son to obtain a higher education background and end up with a good job after graduation in order to support the family.
