A loan helped to buy wood and planks for home improvement.

Chy's story

Chy is 44 years old, married, and a mother of two children. Together, they live in Santuk district of Kampong Thom province. To earn a living, Chy began a hog-raising business in the backyard of her own home. When the pigs are full grown she sells them to local traders and butchers in the province, approximately earning a net income of KHR 8,000 per day. Aside from raising hogs, she decided to be involved in other agribusinesses that would help her to improve her income. The house Chy lives in has deteriorated over the years and it needs some renovation. She has saved some money to start this construction and plans to increase her yields and income to add to her savings. Due to inadequate capital, she has requested a loan of KHR 4,000,000 to buy wood and planks for home improvement. By doing so, her family will live in a comfortable and warm place, without worrying about the rainy season. Chy thanks lenders for this constant support. She awaits your kindness and relies on your generosity.
