Maria Auxiliadora's story
María Auxiliadora is a humble lady who lives in the marginal neighborhood of Managua. She has 2 children who she cares for who are 8 and 10 years old. They go to public school. Her greatest desire is that they might be professionals someday. She works together with her husband selling fruits and vegetables out of their house and also as street vendors. This is their only way of income to care for the needs of their children. She requests this loan to invest in their little business by buying oranges, onions, tomatoes, pineapples, plantains, and lemons. With this investment, she expects to improve her income so that she can continue covering the expenses of their home and family.
