A loan helped to buy two dairy cows.
José Atilio's story
Fifty-four-year-old José only studied up to the end of sixth grade. He is married; his wife is a housewife and they have three children together. José gets up at 5am with his wife and children, who depend on José's work. José works in farming and cattle raising, a trade that he learned from his parents. In order to get to his land, José walks for two kilometres and works with his wife in the morning. Later in the afternoon he milks the cows in order to make cheese, creams, and the like, which his wife goes out to sell. José is applying for a loan to buy two dairy cows in order to increase his milk products and to increase his income through sales. This will help maintain the family. José is planning to buy a vehicle in order to travel from his home to the surrounding areas as their is no public transport and he must go everywhere by foot.
