A loan helped to pay laborers for transplanting rice and weeding the cassava plantation.

Chim's story

Chim is 21 years old. She lives with her spouse and a child in the small village of Baray district, Kampong Thom province. She has been involved in the agricultural business from an early age as her parents were farmers and taught her how to handle this business. This is a traditional activity for the family. She now works hard on her own land, which she inherited after she married, growing rice and cassavas for a seasonal income. Due to the lack of economic resources for an investment into her farming project, she has applied for a loan in the sum of KHR 4,000,000, which enables her to pay laborers for transplanting rice and weeding the cassava plantation. As a result of the loan support, she hopes to maintain her crops in good condition and ensure a fruitful harvest in this coming season. This will improve the income for her family. She thanks lenders for a constant support. She awaits your kindness and relies on your generosity.
