Aram's story

Aram, an experienced agronomist, is from the village Lehvaz of Syunik region. He lives with his big family – wife and four children (two daughters and two sons) who support Aram a lot in his everyday struggle to earn a living for his family. Aram is currently involved in breeding a livestock of pigs and piglets, as well as cultivating fruits (peach, pomegranate, blood orange, quince, apple, pear and nuts). Livestock breeding and horticulture are the most important sources of income of the family. Aram sells the Agro products not only in the local market, but he also transports the products to the capital city, where all those fruits have higher demand. Aram is now eager to enlarge his livestock of pigs to become more compatible and effectively meet the family’s needs. A loan of USD 3,000 will help him a lot to purchase three pigs and some forage for the livestock. Aram and his family rely on the goodwill of the lenders and are thankful to them for the support.
