Erkebu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy sheep.
Erkebu is 65 years old, a widow, who has been raising six children by herself after her husband's death and also running her own business. Erkebu has a higher education. She spent many long years working as a chemistry and biology teacher at a local school. Erkebu has been involved in animal husbandry for 40 years, having started with a purchase of livestock with 15,000 som (KGS). Thanks to her hard work, today her business contains 1 horse, 2 dairy cows and also 20 heads of small livestock, and the monthly income amounts to 10,000 som (KGS). In order to further develop her business, Erkebu requested a loan in the amount of 60,000 som (KGS) from the microfinance bank "Bai-Tushum and Partners" to increase livestock headcount by buying small livestock. Erkebu plans to invest the earnings from the loan into a continued increase of domestic livestock quantities.
