Elsa's story

Elsa is 41 years old and lives with her life partner, age 51. They have nine children. Elsa has a store where she sells basic necessities such as grains, bread, dairy products, soap, and other products. She has several years of experience in this business and over time has set aside some of her earnings for various expenses. Her partner is a day laborer who grows basic grains, beans, and corn. These crops are sold in different places so that they can pay for the household expenses. Elsa has many customers who prefer to do business with her because she offers quality products at good prices and provides excellent service. She is devoted to her work and willing to do everything that she can to succeed. What is most important to her is her family, but supporting them can be difficult since her family is so large. However, she always strives to provide them with what they need.

Very soon, Elsa would like to begin installing electric lights in her home, as well as a bathroom and washroom. These are essential for having a more comfortable and fuller life. She needs to make this investment, but she does not have sufficient capital. For this reason, Elsa is requesting a loan from FUSAI in order to buy cement, cables, light bulbs, sand, a toilet, and other items. She has good payment references from those who know her. Elsa and her husband will be responsible for repaying this debt. At the same time, they have faith that they can provide their family a better quality of life.
