Hun's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy fertilizer and pay plowing fees.
A mother of two children, Hun, aged 30, lives in a rural area in Kampong Cham province’s Ponhea Krek district, Cambodia. One of her children is in school while the other is too young for school. Rice farming on a half hectare and cassava growing on three hectares of her farmland are the main sources of her family income while her husband works for others for a fee to supplement the income. Hun has been involved with the current business for five years. She is a third-cycle borrower with Visionfund (Kiva’s partner) and has completely repaid her previous loans. The previous loans have improved her family's living condition and enabled her to keep her child in school. Now she is applying for a new loan in order to buy fertilizer for her farmland and to pay for plowing fees. She hopes to expand the farmland to plant pepper to increase her income.
