Mach's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a decent motorbike for her kids to travel back and forth to their workplace, to buy more pigs for raising, and to buy fertilizer and gasoline for her hand tractor, as well as to pay the plowing fee for her farmland.

Mach's story

A local farmer from Sa Ang district of Kandal province, Mach is 40 years old and married. She has four children. Two of her children work at the factory, one helps with the family’s business, and the remaining one is studying at a local primary school. Besides rice cropping on one hectare of farmland, Mach also raises pigs while her husband works at a construction site for extra income. Mach has been involved in her business since she was 20 years old. Mach is a third-time borrower with VisionFund (Kiva’s partner). She has paid back her past loans completely and they have enabled her to support her living. Now, Mach is seeking a new loan in order to buy a decent motorbike for her kids to travel back and forth to their workplace, to buy more pigs for raising, and to buy fertilizer and gasoline for her hand tractor, as well as to pay the plowing fee for her farmland. She hopes to triple her income and set aside some money for future needs.
