Dali's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a van to use in her fruit and vegetable business.

Dali's story

Dali, 51 years old, lives in the village of Baghdadi with her husband, two grown sons, daughter-in-law and a grandchild. The family runs an agricultural business and cultivates nuts and maize. They also own a greenhouse where tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers are grown. Additionally, Dali is involved in an animal husbandry business with a milk cow and two calves. Her agricultural products are always of high quality and are sold at the local open market. Her husband owns a truck and rents it out to earn a monthly income.

With this start-up loan Dali plans to purchase a van and start trading with the support of her spouse. They will purchase a variety of fruits and vegetables in the neighboring town and make deliveries with the van. Dali will also sell the products from the small stall located at the open market. She thinks that the business will be profitable and the family will have a stable income, enabling them to cover everyday costs as well as expand their business in future.

With the support of the start-up program, Dali will get an opportunity to be involved in her own business and tackle their financial difficulties.
