Tabu is 59 years old, married and a mother of two children. For the last 10 years, she has earned a living by selling fruits and vegetables in Malindi. She earns a monthly income of about 5,000 KES (Kenyan shillings) from the business. Tabu was introduced to KADET LTD by our credit officer, and is applying for her third loan of 10,000 KES to buy additional stock for her business, such as tomatoes, pineapples, oranges, onions and so on to sell to her customers. She will use the profits made possible by this loan to pay school fees for her children as well as continue expanding the business. Tabu's goal for the future is to continue growing the business so that she may help uplift her family's financial stability.
