The Spritens Girls Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy clothes and footwear for resale in and around town.

The Spritens Girls Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 37-year-old Vine from Mutare. Vine is the group leader for The Spritens Girls. She is divorced with three children and two are attending school. Vine runs a retail business which sells clothes and footwear. The business has been in operation for five years. She says the main challenge she faces is that of bad debtors and a slow market. Vine has requested a loan of $500 to buy clothes and footwear to sell to mostly working class people in town. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve her family's general welfare. In the future, Vine plans to own a boutique shop in town.
