Toka Chini Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy two cans of palm oil, two bowls of tomatoes and one bowl of groundnuts.

Toka Chini Group's story

The borrower, Kiyana, is a member of the business group "Toka Chini". She is 45 years old and a novice entrepreneur. She is also married and the mother of eight children who all attend school. Her husband works as a civil servant in a public administration. Kiyana sells palm oil, tomatoes, groundnuts etc. She displays her products at the public market and sometimes at home. She started in this business about five months ago using a loan received from the microfinance Hekima. She will use this new loan to buy two cans of palm oil, two bowls of tomatoes and one bowl of groundnuts. She hopes to be able to expand her activity, and to feed and educate her children. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima for providing support to small-scale entrepreneurs, through micro-credit. It should be noted that (in the photo) one of the borrowers is carrying her baby.
