but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more vegetables to meet her customers' demand.

Top Class Group's story

Mwanaidi is in her early 20s, married and has two children, one in school and the other too young for school. She has been buying and selling vegetables for three years now. She works from 5.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit. This will be Mwanaidi's seventh loan from Tujijenge, Tanzania. She used the previous loans to increase her vegetable stock and has paid them all back successfully. She is really happy with the loans which have helped her to support her family to a good standard. The profits paid for her child's school fees, covered household expenses and allowed her to start building her house. She will use this loan to buy more vegetables to meet her customers' demand, selling door to door. She dreams of selling more vegetables. Mwanaidi will share this loan with her loan group "Top Class" which has 16 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
