A loan helped to buy two dairy cows.

Duncan's story

Duncan is a 33-year-old married man. He has two children aged 3 years and 7 years old. He describes himself to be honest and a go-getter. He operates a tailor shop where he makes clothes to sell and also repairs clothes. He has been involved in this business for 10 years. He also operates a motorcycle transport business to earn extra income. His business is located in a strategic place and his primary customers are local residents. Duncan describes his biggest business challenge to be that customers order clothes and then turn down their requests. He will use the Kes 100,000 loan to buy two dairy cows. His business goal is to buy more sewing machines and employ five people within five years. He hopes that in the future, he will buy a piece of land, develop it, and live happily with his family. He will use the anticipated profits to repay the loan and put aside savings. This is his fourth loan with SMEP DTM. His previous loans were repaid successfully.
