Djidjoho 2 Group's story

DJIDJOHO 2 is a group consisting of three persons, whose members are friends and belong to the same tontine (loan association) group. The representative for the group, Yémalin Armandine (the one raising her hand on the photo) is 38 years old. Yémalin Armandine did not attend school. She is married to Isidore. The couple has two children; both attend school and are dependents. Yémalin Armandine lives with her husband and children, and the couple shares household expenses. To do this, Yémalin Armandine has been selling rice with sauce from her home for the past eighteen years. Secondarily, she sells liqueurs, which enables her to have other sources of income. She resupplies in one of Benin's markets. To strengthen her business and meet with customer demand, Yémalin Armandine and the other members of the DJIDJOHO 2 group are requesting a fourth loan from ALIDé. Previous loans have been fully repaid.
