Saima's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase spare parts.

Saima's story

Saima is 38 years old, and is a hardworking and diligent woman. She lives in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, with her husband and two sons, who run a car decoration and spare parts shop. This is the only source of income for her family. They are facing problems in the family business because their current stock of car accessories is almost finished and they have no funds available to purchase more stock. Saima has requested a loan from Kiva’s partner BRAC Pakistan so that her husband can continue his business and purchase a new variety of car accessories and decoration kits, like engine parts, alloy rims, car chargers, fog lights, seat covers, neon lights, etc. With the profits of the business, she is going to make arrangements for the marriage of her son and for the expansion of their business. She is very hopeful that the loan would be a productive one for them and she is very thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan for their help.
