Karen Lorena's story
Karen, 27, is a young enterprising woman with a lot of dreams, energy and desire to succeed alongside her partner and 2 children. She has a secondary school education, which she was able to study for thanks to her parents support and graduation with a diploma in science and language. She is a young woman with desires to do well in life and this is why she decided to set up a business and make her dreams a reality by opening a food sales shop, selling snacks among other things, located in a strategic location in the centre of the zone she lives in, in the surrounding area there are bodegas, butchers and grocery stores, etc. She is currently requesting help to buy kitchen equipment like electrical appliances, plastic chairs and tables so she can start her business in a good position. Her future plans are to have a solid, well established business as her dream is to see her children grow up and to provide them with a good education that will aid and support them in future.
