Maritza's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy carbonated beverages at wholesale.

Maritza's story

Maritza, 49, is a brave, hardworking woman married to Max; she has six children but only two of them live with her in her own house. Maritza’s work consists in selling beverages like carbonated soft-drinks and beer and to do so she has two refrigerators at home where she freezes the drinks every day to then sell to her occasional customers. Fortunately, she does very well and sales have improved as time has passed. She’s been in this business for more than 8 years and she does so with help from her children while her husband carries out other activities. What she likes about her work is that she can work alongside her children and have time available to do other activities. On this occasion she’ll request 1,000 soles. She feels grateful for the financial support she’s getting to continue in business and in addition commits to make her payments punctually and responsibly. She will use the requested amount to buy more beverages to have in stock to be able to fill customer requests.
