A loan helped to buy more calves.

Aynur's story

Aynur is 28 years old, married and the mother of two children. She is an IDP (internally displaced person) and lives with her husband and children in the Bilasuvar IDP Settlement. She is a Fuzuli refugee. Aynur has been raising cattle for the past 5 years. She says this is a very difficult job. Taking care of animals is a continuous effort, but her husband helps her to raise the cattle, fatten them and sell them in the market. Aynur usually buys cattle, raises them, fattens them and sells them in the central bazaar. Her monthly income of 150 AZ is the only source of income for her family. She plans to expand the business in order to bring more funds into her family. Selling meat is a very profitable business in Azerbaijan, due to its large use in everyday meals. She is applying for a loan of 1800 AZN in order to buy more calves. This is going to be her first loan with Aqroinvest. She believes this loan will have a positive impact in the expansion of her business.
