Balvina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a solar panel for her house.
Balvina, 58, is an enterprising woman. She is a widow, as her husband died nine years ago. She lives with her mother. She has a daughter who is independent, working and studying. Balvina finished secondary school and graduated as a chartered public accountant. She currently works in commerce, selling basic grains and vegetables in a small grocery store which she has owned for more than 15 years. Her only support in her business is her mother, who helps her with the sale of products such as rice, beans, dairy products, and others. Her clients are her neighbors, family members, and friends from the area, who come to the store daily to buy products. She is currently asking for help to buy a solar panel, which she has wanted for a long time. There is no electricity where she lives and she believes that she will be able to take advantage of selling other products at night, which will give her a little more income. Her goal with the purchase of this product is to improve her home by producing electricity, as well as to have a better income and invest in her business to better serve her clients.
