Sveta's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to purchase livestock, fuel and lubricants.
Sveta is 59 years old and has raised four children. As a source of income for her family, Sveta works with livestock breeding. She started this business in 1995 with an amount of 4,000 som (KGS), which was used to purchase seeds to sow potatoes. Thanks to Sveta's persistent work, her farm currently consist of 1.2 hectares of irrigated land with beans and potatoes, and further one cow, two bulls and five sheep. With an aim to further develop her business, Sveta turned to the micro finance bank "Bai Tushum & Partners" for a loan in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS). The loan is for the purchase of livestock for fattening and reselling, and further to purchase fuel and lubricants. Sveta plans to invest the income from the loan in further expanding her business.
