Dineo's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay for one year of tuition fees and living expenses at the Maharishi Institute.
Dineo is a Business Management student at the Maharishi Institute. Dineo is 20 years old and was asked the following questions by a staff member of the Institute: What do you study at the Maharishi Institute and what classes do you enjoy most? “Business Administration Degree. I enjoy the Physiology Consciousness, SCI Principles and Sustainable Living.” What are your goals after graduation? “Get employed at the biggest insurance company in South Africa and be experienced about the industry so that I can be able to start my own insurance company. I would like to travel around the world and have an open mind on how people outside my country survive and behave.” Tell us about your background? “I was both in Soweto. I live with my mother and my sister. She is a student at Cida City Campus. I don’t have any other siblings. She is the oldest and I am the last born. I finished high school in 2009 then enrolled at PC Training and Business College in 2010, during that year my mother lost her job and has been unemployed ever since. I have never been employed before. I joined the Maharishi Institute in 2011 and that was the best thing that happened to me.” What do you do in your spare time? “Read novels, both nonfiction and fiction. Write poems, short stories and anything that comes to my mind. Sleep, relax, go out with friends and watch TV.” How will the Kiva Loan change your life? “Kiva Loan will change my life in a way that I will achieve my goals and one of them is to get the Business Degree without hesitation. My studies and lifestyle will be affected in a positive way because I will no longer have to struggle before paying my fees and that will give me more time to focus on my studies.”
