Lucio's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a variety of synthetic leathers to repair minibus seats.
Lucio is single, but he has lived with his partner for 25 years. He has four children, three of whom are independent and one whom he takes care of. He lives in a rented space, which also houses his small upholstery workshop. Lucio's home has four rooms with stucco walls; the floor is made of wood planks with tongue-and-groove joints. The house is in the Brasil neighborhood in El Alto. He works as an upholsterer, repairing 14-passenger minibus seats. He is paid when the work is done. His partner does the housework and also helps him; both of them pay for basic services for the family. Lucio needs a loan to buy synthetic leather to have a wider variety to offer his clients and to increase his earnings. He dreams of having a larger workshop with assistants and providing jobs to young people. This is his first loan with IMPRO and Kiva.
