A loan helped To buy clothes at wholesale and sell them at retail prices.
Natruli requested a 2000 GEL start-up loan from Credo. Her loan request was approved within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and Credo. This start-up loan program envisions providing start-up and re-startup loans with easy terms to country rural poor who do not have access to credit products, as they are regarded as high-risk borrowers due to low incomes.
With her loan Natruli will buy clothes at wholesale, then sell them at retail in her village. Natruli is a very hardworking woman and will try her best to make her new business work. Part of her profits she will use for reinvesting and purchasing more clothes to develop her trade. The other part will be used to help cover monthly expenses and provide better living conditions for the family.
