Maria's story

Margarita has asked for a loan from the Crédito Desarrollo (Developing Credit) program. She sells new clothes, perfume, and accessories such as wallets and necklaces. She started this business about 30 years ago, before she got married. Its success has been variable due to not making regular profits. In addition, when she had a little bit of money she would bought buy wool and she would knit. In this way she was able to sell some goods and put together a bit of money. With the money that she has asked for, she will buy more clothes, accessories, and underwear for her business. She thinks that this will work well for her at this time because she can buy clothes in the sizes that her customers have asked for. The thing that she has liked the most in working with Fondo Esperanza (Hope Fund) is that they always help to develop the ventures of others.
