Davud's story

Davud is 55 years old, married and has four children, a 23-year-old and 22-year-old daughter and a 20-year-old and 19-year-old son. His daughters are married and his sons go to college. Davud wants his sons to go into the products selling business, too. His wife stays at home, so he is the only one making an income. Davud has been an IDP (Internally Displaced Person) from Fuzuli city. Now he lives in the Fuzuli region, which is close to the occupied border. This is Davud's second loan from Kiva. He started his business five years ago to sell food products in a store. Now he needs a 2,000 AZN (Azerbaijan New Manat) loan to buy sausages, eggs, butter, flour and etc. He wants to use the money from his new stock to help his family. In the future, he wants to repair and extend the store. This will be more profitable for his business. Davud is thankful to Komak and Kiva for supporting him.
