Jeannette's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped buy shoes to sell.

Jeannette's story

Jeannette is 31 years old, married, and has 2 children, ages 8 and 3 respectively. She lives in her in-laws' house with her children and husband, and she sells shoes, ordering and receiving them from another city. Jeannette visits neighbors, friends, and acquaintances in search of new clients. She has been doing this work for 3 years and she works alone, since another person is not necessary for the work she does. What Jeannette likes most about her work is that it allows her to be at the side of her children when necessary, to care for and educate them. When she fulfills her labor function, she achieves good sales, since her customers have confidence in the products she offers. Jeannette would like to expand her business and have a large store where she could offer her products in greater comfort for her customers. This is Jeannette's 4th loan with Kiva. And that's why she is so grateful to all the people who have made her loans possible and helped her work to continue with better results. For her part, she promises to comply punctually with her payments. With the solicited sum of 2,500 sols, Jeannette will purchase more shoes to continue with her sales, now that the winter season is approaching.
