Maria Auxiliadora Group's story

The communal bank "María Auxiliadora" is in its tenth loan cycle and five of the members are below the poverty line, meaning they are at level red of the "traffic light". One of the members is Marlene who was at level one on the last poverty survey. She sells fast food for a living and claims to have a very good customer base as her food is very good and popular. She is someone who has always worked and continues to do so to help her family. She is requesting a loan to buy supplies to make the food she sells, such as vegetables, condiments, seasonings, meat and other items. She is grateful for this opportunity because she will able to continue with her work plans.
