Tujikwamue Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to renovate his fish-selling business premises and start a broiler business.

Tujikwamue Group's story

Hamisi, 40, is a married man with a school-aged daughter. Since 2006, Hamisi has been running a fish-selling business. He starts his activities at 10am and works until 9pm every day. He is able to make a good profit each month. This will be his second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loan, which he paid back successfully, to purchase additional fish to resell. With the profit he made, he covered home expenses and school fees for his girl. He will use this loan to renovate his business premises and start a broiler business. He dreams of being a big fish-selling man and owning his own fishing boats. He will share this loan with his loan group, Tujikwamue, which totals 12 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying the loan back.
