Orsi Benjamín's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy three grazing calves and to plant 7,000 square meters of manioc.
Orsi Benjamín's story
Orsi, 30, has a spouse and a son. He learned to raise cattle and to work in agriculture since he was 12 years old. He learned how to work from an uncle. Orsi never had the opportunity to go to school which is why he went into caring for animals and growing manioc in order to earn income to support himself. To buy the supplies he needs he must make a thirty-minute trip by pick-up truck to the city. The loan he’s asking Fundación Campo for is to buy three grazing calves and to plant 7,000 square meters of manioc. With the purchase of the calves he’ll earn extra income from what he earns from agriculture so his family will not lack what’s needed to live on. His dream is to build his own house because the one he currently lives in belongs to someone else.
