Shida's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for eucalyptus seedlings, fertilizer, training, and plantation maintenance support.

Shida's Group's story

Shida is a twenty-eight year old farmer and mother of five children. She and her husband keep goats and poultry, and grow food crops. Their business is frequently affected by drought. Shida cannot find another job as she is illiterate. Shida decided to become a KOMAZA tree farmer to generate income to educate her children and improve the family's standard of living. She also hopes the trees will improve the environment. With the money from harvesting her trees, Shida hopes she can send her children to college and invest in livestock.
