Burmakan's story

Burmakan was born in the city of Jalal-Abad (in the Jalal-Abad region), she is 60 years old, she is a widow and lives with her family in a small village. The borrower after finishing high school in Jalal-Abad got married. Her husband suddenly passed away. She is the mother of three children. The borrower raises livestock and has been doing this since 1983. She started her business from 1,000 KGS. By slowly growing and expanding her working capital she built a house. Her monthly income from the business is 20,000 KGS. In order to further grow her business Burmakan turned to Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 135,000 som (KGS). She plans to use the entire loan sum to purchase livestock to raise and sell. The borrower plans to build a big farm in the future to grow cattle. After receiving the profits from this business the borrower plans to remodel her home and barn. During the document preparation and financial analysis period the borrower showed herself to be responsible, decent, honest, entrepreneurial, able to run her farm and to invest monetary resources in the right way.
