A loan helped to pay for textiles.

Margarette's story

This is 34-year-old Margarette. She is married and has four children ages five, six and fourteen. She has one additional dependent, who lives with her to assist with the house chores. In 1995, Margarette established her textiles business. She began her business because she wanted to assist her husband in taking care of the home. Her business is located in the city center and her main customers are adults. Working seven days a week and ten hours a day, Margarette earns about SLL 2,500,000 every month from this business. She would like a loan in the amount of SLL 5,000,000. She has paid three loans in the past. Margarette requires a loan in order to buy more lace material, batik, and siphon for resale. She hopes that this loan will help her to improve the business by getting more stock. In the future, Margarette plans to open a shop and to improve the business' profit. She thanks you for your support.
