Sinza E Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to open a retail shop business for his wife, where she will sell a variety of consumer items, such as cooking oil, wheat flour, and maize flour.
Sinza E Group's story
Rahimu has been a taxi driver for the past 13 years. He works from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is able to make a good profit each month. He is in his early forties and he lives with his wife and two children, both of whom attend school. This will be Rahimu's seventh loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used his previous loans to buy his own taxi, and he used his profits to buy a flat-screen TV for his family, a sofa set and fan for the household, and school fees for his children, as well as covering household expenses. He has paid back all his loans successfully. His dream is eventually to be able to own more cars so as to expand his business. He will use this loan to open a retail shop business for his wife, where she will sell a variety of consumer items, such as cooking oil, wheat flour, and maize flour. Rahimu will share this loan with his loan group "Sinza E," which totals 11 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
