Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase chickens and feed.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

Sara is the treasurer of the "Mujer Manos Unidas" ["Woman Hands Together"] communal bank. She is 33 years old and she is the mother of four children, all of them minors, who study in primary and secondary school. Sara is a very hardworking woman who earns her living raising chickens and pigs. She also works part-time in the cafeteria of her community school, all to help her children with their education and to improve the conditions and the environment in which they live. This is the third loan that Sara and her group have requested. She will invest it in the purchase of chickens along with feed to increase their production. Sara's group is composed of six more members who are going to invest in commercial and agricultural businesses.
