Morn's story

A grocery shop runner from Pusat Province, Morn is 47 years-old and a widowed mother of five children. In the village, she sells grocery items such as salt, canned food, instant noodles, etc. She has been engaged in this business for 24 years and she is able to earn up to 7,000 KHR per day. This is the third loan for Morn with Kiva's partner VisionFund. She has repaid back her earlier loans already and her living condition is better than before as she can provide more decent food for her children. Her new requested loan amount is 1,000,000 KHR. She will use this loan to buy more grocery items to replenish her business for resell. She hopes to stock more items to sell on time so that she can absorb more clients and make more profit.
