Kadiatu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy bowls, spoons, stoves and drinking buckets.

Kadiatu's story

This is 31-year-old Kadiatu. She is married, and has two children aged four years and six months. One is a school-going child. She has two additional dependents, who live with her because they are fostered. In 2006, Kadiatu established her household utensils business. She began her business because though she completed tertiary education and taught for two years, the low salary she got made her decide to engage in business. The business has now grown from a stall to a shop. Working seven days a week and 11 hours a day, she earns about SLL 2,650,000 every month from this business. She would like a loan of an amount of SLL 4,000,000. Kadiatu has already received and successfully repaid one loan, and now requires a new loan in order to buy bowls, spoons, stoves and drinking buckets. In the future, Kadiatu plans to open another shop, educate her children, build a house and become an international business woman. This loan will help to bring additional income to the business. Sometimes the items will go missing or get damaged in travel. She is a hardworking and devoted business woman. She thanks you for your support.
