Douglas Antonio's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy the materials necessary to make furniture.
Douglas Antonio's story
Douglas keeps working as a carpenter Mondays to Saturdays. He has three people who help him fulfil his clients' wholesale orders. He has a stall at one of the markets of Managua, which is very beneficial to his sales, since it is very frequented. This helped him improve his family's quality of life. In the future, he hopes to produce more furniture and have his own credit line. With this fourth loan, he will buy plywood, wood, mirrors, and padlocks, in order to make the type of furniture he specialises in, namely wardrobes and chests of drawers. He is very happy with his current situation, since, thanks to his business and to the help he received with the loans, his spouse and children have been doing increasingly well. He hopes his children will become talented professionals.
