Zuurakan's story

Zuurakan is 45 years old, a widow, and the mother of two children. Her family's source of income is Zuurakan's livestock business. She started the business four years ago with 50,000 som (KGS), and today she currently has one milk cow and a calf. The business brings in about 30,000 som (KGS) per month from the sale of cattle. Zuurakan also earns money by processing nonferrous metals. With an aim to further developing her business, Zuurakan applied to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 130,000 som (KGS) to buy cattle. Zuurakan plans to invest the profits from the loan in further expanding her business, and she plans to marry off her son this year.
