Nicasio Arcenio's story

Nicasio is 44 years old, married and has three children, all of whom are in school. He is originally from Chinandega, a place that is located in the Western part of the country. Nicasio has his own carpentry shop that he runs as his primary source of income. He makes furniture from wood to sell paid for in whole or in installments. He has been doing this for eight years. His business started with a little bit of savings he had and because he needed to job in order to take care of household expenses. The loan will be used to invest in working capital and to supply his business with prime materials such as wood, nails, glue, and a drill. Nicasio is thankful for the help the investors at Kiva have given him and to others with little resources available to them in countries as poor as Nicaragua.
