but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a display case to showcase her products and to pay the expenses of her mandatory school trip.
Evely Lizbets's story
At 19 years of age, Evely is the principal shopkeeper for her cosmetics store in Nazca, Peru. The home of the famous Nazca Lines, Nazca is a popular tourist destination. She is living at home to help support her family. Her mother inspired her to sell beauty products. Evely, in addition to her working her shop, is studying in the Nazca Institute to become an official tour guide. She is a very hard worker. She has requested a Kiva loan so that she may purchase a large class showcase for all of her beauty products. She will use the rest of the money to pay for a compulsory school trip which she must complete in order to graduate as a tour guide. In addition to the funds allocated for the trip, she will use her additional income from the showcase to pay for her studies and support her family. Evely aspires to grow her beauty business, even as a tour guide for Nazca. She is very thankful to her Kiva lenders.
