Jesus's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy more cattle.
Jesús, who is 32 years old, is a hardworking man. He lives with his wife and children in a house that he inherited a few years ago. He is hardworking and responsible. He gets up early every morning and goes out to the fields to look after his animals: horses, cows, bulls and other smaller animals. His work consists of fattening animals to sell for a good price to local butchers or other famers in the area. Thanks to this work he can support his family and provide his children with an education. His efforts are rewarded as, he says, he gets to travel a lot especially to the city of La Oroya, where he has regular customers who sell his animals. He hopes that the animals he is rearing now will be good quality and therefore that he will get a good price for them. This will be his second loan with MFP. He is grateful for the support he has received as it has enabled him to improve his income and to maintain his business’ healthy financial position. This allows him to commit to making his payments on time. Jesús will invest the money in the purchase of more animals for fattening, and thus carry on his business.
