Kousar's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase another buffalo for dairy use.
Mrs Kousar is a 52-year-old, married woman, who has been running a business of dairy farming, milking buffaloes, for the past ten years. She initiated her own business by buying a buffalo, in order to support her family and help her husband. With the passage of time her sales increased, and her income did also, and now she has two buffaloes. She is the mother of five children; two of them are school-going. Because of her work, she is respected in her home. She helps her husband in all family matters, as well as financial matters. While talking to the Kashf officer, she shared her dream to educate her other children as well. Kousar is in her fifth loan cycle with Kashf Foundation. She has some savings and has applied for a loan of PKR 20,000 to help her to purchase another buffalo. She hopes to gain an increase in her net income, which she intends to spend on providing quality education to her children.
