Batbayar's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy hardwood floors and install doors.
Batbayar, 52, lives with his wife and three children in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. He works as a carpenter for a private company, and his wife weaves traditional Mongolian dresses that are made to order. His elder daughter works as a manager in a restaurant while his second daughter works for a construction company. In 2012, Batbayar demolished his old house in order to build a 2-flat house. At the moment, the house’s second flat is not completed and needs interior work. So he is requesting a loan of 3,000,000 MNT to buy hardwood floors and install doors that will be used to segregate the rooms. The completed house, which will lose less heat, will be very beneficial to the family and also to the environment, as the consumption of coal will diminish drastically.
