Celia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sweaters and sportswear.

Celia's story

Celia is single and has two daughters who are no longer dependent on her. She lives at her sister’s house and shares in all of the expenses. The house is made of adobe and has cement floors. It has space set aside for a bedroom, living area, storage closet, and kitchen. The house is located in the District of La Portada in the city of La Paz.

Celia currently works as a merchant, selling electrical goods and clothing near one of the transportation unions where there are a large number of drivers. She is responsible for expenses, such as transportation and food. The loan she is requesting will be used to buy sweaters and sportswear that she can continue selling. These items are the most requested by her customers.

Celia’s dream includes having a household appliance store, generating more income, and hiring an employee to help with making sales. This is the first time she has requested a loan from IMPRO and Kiva.
