Angelica's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase inventory.
Angelica knew she needed to find work in her new home after moving from Durango, Mexico to El Paso, Texas. She debated on what would best suit her lifestyle and then decided to return to retail. She ultimately decided to put her 20 years of experience in that industry to work to start her own business: Life Time Watch, a store where she sells new watches purchased at wholesale. The five-year-old business only carries the latest styles, Angelica says. Currently, she employees two people, but Angelica plans to hire more as her business expands. Angelica’s daughter, a student at St. Mary’s University, found out about Accion Texas Inc. and encouraged her to apply for a loan. Upon approval, Angelica used the loan to purchase inventory for the holiday season.
